Ring doorbell camera is the most recognizable security camera out there. The bane of thefts and solicitors all across the world. We knew it would be high on our list and it took the second spot.

Ring company has a big team and some of the top security designers, so we weren’t surprised that the camera was good quality with a nice app and real-time notifications. It performed really well when it was working.

Some of our reviewers who live in colder weather states did have issues with Ring’s battery draining faster and having to pop it off and recharge it. The set-up is also a little tricky, as this is mounted where your current doorbell is. It needs a lot more real estate than a lot of current doorbells and might hang over the frame. It’s also kind of ugly on historic homes.
