Did you know that Amazon got into the security game? Of course they did, any way to make more money! They did a fairly decent job with their reasonably priced Blink cameras.

The cameras require no hardwiring (battery operated) and have excellent infrared night vision. They also work with Alexa and Alexa products if you are hoping to be fully connected. The two-way communication is clear and the installation and app are easy to operate.

Blink actually used to be ranked higher on our list, but they were bumped down due to their subscription plan. Blink initially ran a campaign that positioned their cameras as having no additional costs…. but I guess that was not making them enough money and now they require a subscription plan if you want to view anything besides the live view. Also, their customer service was outsourced and difficult to deal with.
