Rounding out our top five list is the UpUltra security light bulb. UpUltra has a clear picture and pan tilting camera which can be controlled through the security app on your phone. It also has panoramic fish-eye viewing.

We thought the two-way audio on UpUltra was very clear and easy to have a conversation with someone at our front or back door. We had a couple of reviewers contact their “lifetime customer support” and they all had fairly good experiences. The wait times were a little long, but they did get their questions answered adequately and in a friendly manner.

The main issues our reviewers ran into with UpUltra was the motion detection sensitivity and the ads for cloud services. The motion detection is highly sensitive, which is great, but if you live somewhere with lots of bugs, you get constant notifications at night that are just moths or mosquitos hovering by the camera's light. The other complaint was when viewing videos, there are ads to purchase UpUltra’s premium cloud services and this blocks part of the video you are trying to view.
